Security & service continuity

J2S Dispatcher

J2S Dispatcher is a software application developed by J2S to ensure service continuity and maintain a constant level of performance.

J2S Dispatcher constantly monitors the Adobe InDesign instances it controls: it ensures that these instances are up and running without consuming too much memory. J2S Dispatcher also balances the workload between the different managed InDesign Server instances; if all instances are busy, requests are held until one of the instances becomes available.

J2S Dispatcher benefits

Communicating with InDesign & InDesign Server
J2S Dispatcher enables a third-party application to pilot InDesign and InDesign Server instances
Service continuity
J2S Dispatcher can automatically restart InDesign Server instances that are not responding.
Queuing & load balancing
J2S Dispatcher queues generation requests and dispatches them to available instances.
